Lloyd Mathias is an angel investor and business strategist. He is an Board Member, Independent Director, and advisor to companies in the technology and consumer space. He invests, partners and collaborates with founders of early stage companies in the areas of AI, EdTech, Consumer Internet, Data Analytics and Digital Technology.

Lloyd has held senior leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies across India & the Asia Pacific. Lloyd was the marketing head of HP Inc’s PC business for the APAC region, based in Singapore, till 2018.

In previous corporate roles he was President & Chief Marketing Officer of Tata Teleservices, Country Sales Director of Motorola India & South-West Asia and Executive VP Marketing and Category Director for PepsiCo India & South Asia.

Lloyd has been Chairman of MRUCI the publishers of the IRS Indian Readership Survey; Chairman of Mobile Asia; Co-Chairman of the Device Strategy Council of the Mobility Development Group, USA and Asia Board Member of the CMO Council.

Lloyd is a science graduate from Mumbai’s St. Xavier’s College; has an MBA from Bombay University and did a Senior Executive Program at the London Business School.

He is among India’s best known marketers and in 2007 he was named among the world’s top 15 marketers, by Inter national list magazine – a list that celebrates those international marketers behind outstanding cross border campaigns. He was also chosen as Asia’s Marketer of the Year in 2016.
